Unlike many mini-scale vehicles, it uses proper oil-filled shocks, metal-geared diffs, and a chassis that mirrors the full-size Kraton's proportions closely enough to feel like a shrunken version rather than a toy approximation. The 3S capability at 1/18 scale produces speeds that are fast for the size — the Mini Kraton can outrun many 1/10 brushed platforms. This, combined with the small footprint, makes it capable in spaces where a full-size truck would be impractical.
