The RCStash Chrome Extension: Compare Prices While You Browse
If you’ve ever been on an AMain Hobbies product page wondering whether Horizon Hobby has the same truck cheaper, you know the drill: open a new tab, go to RCStash, search for the vehicle, compare. It works, but it’s friction.
Today we’re removing that friction. The RCStash Chrome Extension shows you price comparisons directly on retailer product pages, right while you’re already browsing.
What It Does
Install the extension, then browse to any supported RC vehicle page at AMain Hobbies, Horizon Hobby, or RC Superstore. A small panel appears on the page showing you:
- The current price at each retailer we track
- Which retailer has the lowest price right now
- A direct link to the full price history on RCStash
You don’t need to leave the page, open a new tab, or remember to check. It’s just there when you need it.
Why We Built It
The honest reason is that most people discover a price difference too late. By the time you’re on a product page, you’re already close to buying. That’s exactly when the comparison matters most.
RCStash was built to help RC hobbyists spend less on vehicles and parts without having to obsessively check prices. The extension takes that one step further: instead of bringing you to the price data, we bring the price data to you.
Real example: The Arrma Kraton 6S BLX recently had a $45 gap between AMain and Horizon Hobby on the same week. If you landed on the AMain page without checking, you’d have paid $45 more than necessary. The extension would have shown you that gap immediately.
Which Retailers Are Supported?
The extension currently works on product pages at:
- AMain Hobbies (all brands we track)
- Horizon Hobby (Arrma, Losi, Axial, Element RC)
- RC Superstore (Traxxas vehicles)
Coverage matches what RCStash already tracks, currently 30+ vehicles with daily price updates. We’re continuously adding more.
It’s Free
The Chrome extension is completely free. You don’t need an RCStash account to use it, though signing in connects it to your Stash and watchlist so you can add vehicles to track without leaving the retailer site.

How to Install
Install from the Chrome Web Store. It takes about 30 seconds:
- Click the link below to open the extension in the Chrome Web Store
- Click “Add to Chrome”
- Navigate to any supported vehicle page and the panel will appear automatically
